We are SO excited to work with @shibuhairart for our first Pamper Day for 2021 and our very first ‘mini’ Pamper Day.

Today we are pampering very deserving ladies brought to us by @race4life_trust and @babylossnz

Our first Pamper Day this year is being held at Shibu Hair Art salon, hosted by one of our volunteers and Committee member, Rebecca.

We are very grateful to Rebecca who is opening up her gorgeous hair salon to five deserving ladies to be pampered and treated to a day of TLC.

This is the first of many "mini" Pamper Days we will be holding throughout Auckland eventually nationwide. We are SO very grateful to Rebecca and her team for being our FIRST in-salon Pamper Day hosts - super exciting!!!

This event is being funded by the sale of the decorative hearts we have been sharing on our page as well as various raffles. As well as hosting etc, Rebecca is also providing the food and refreshments - again big Thank You to Rebecca.

Feeling Fab is proud to be holding our programme for ladies who are going through grief, loss or trauma. We will be providing a safe environment for these ladies to be pampered by our Feeling Fab team of angels, who have themselves been through loss and grief.

Kia ora Friends, As we come to the end of a heck

Kia ora Friends,

As we come to the end of a heck of a year - 2020 - we all tend to look back - on memories, on photos, on events that have happened to us and to the world. 2020 was a huge year for our planet!

Catastrophic bush fires (Australia and California), a massive explosion in Beirut, Tiger King (?!), tragedies that involved loss of life and rioting, Covid-19 and bunch of other headlining events. As we head into 2021 with Covid-19 still on the radar, we send our love and hugs to you all, we send our wishes of respect, kindness, tolerance and goodwill to all, as we all live and cope with a different world this year and next.

Reach out to your whanau, your friends, to us - if you are struggling - it's okay to not be okay in these unsettling times. We have pulled together some photos (unfortunately we are limited to only 10 photos!!! lol) from throughout the year, from our Pamper Days to our founder, Liz's attendance at the Race4Life Christmas Party in December, as guest speaker, as a recap of our FF year. We are looking forward to expanding our programme in 2021, reaching more women and men who are journeying through grief.

Exciting news !!!! Woooo hoooooo !!!!

A MASSIVE thank you to the team at the Mahu Community Trading Post, who very quickly responded to a letter sent by our awesome committee member Michelle, enquiring about sponsorship.

Nek minute ... !! The team from the Mahu Community Trading Post have replied to Michelle in the form of a $4,000 donation!!!! We are speechless and beyond grateful to receive this kind donation - this is a big deal for us and will ensure we can keep our programme going next year, fulfilling a vital need within our community, to care for and pamper ladies (and soon to be men!) who have experienced grief, bereavement or trauma.

We are honoured to be amongst the very lucky recip

We are honoured to be amongst the very lucky recipients of the generosity of the Dairy Flat Community Trust. Our committee member Tracey-Maree, recently attended their presentation at the Waste Management offices in Dairy Flat, to receive the cheque on Feeling Fab's behalf. This AMAZING donation means that 10 ladies from the Dairy Flat community can come along to our Pamper Day programme. We are so very grateful to the Dairy Flat Community Trust and the Waste Management team for their ongoing support of our programme.

We also recognise and thank Stephanie from the Waste Management team for her help and support when we hold our Pamper Day at the Waste Management offices.

A big thank you to our Tracey-Maree, we hear you did an amazing job representing FF !!
